Planning / Dispatch Clerk
Function
For the Planning / Dispatch Clerk vacancy, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- You will support the transport planning team in drawing up and monitoring the schedules for just under 10 drivers
- You will support your colleagues in the shipping department by booking slots and planning sea freight
- You will be responsible for the necessary administrative tasks relating to entering the correct data and drawing up the CMRs
- You take a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement in current operations and put forward suggestions for improvement
- You will work during the day, starting between 7.00 and 8.30, and you will work until at least 16.00
Profile
For the vacancy for a Planning / Dispatch Clerk, you should recognise yourself in the following competency:
- You have completed a degree in the logistics sector or have had a positive initial experience in planning or maritime transport
- You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a big plus
- You’ll thrive in an SME environment where you’ll act as a pillar of support in a varied role
- You are proactive and, once you have received thorough training, are able to work effectively on your own
