Design Engineer

Function

Are you a driven Design Engineer who enjoys bringing technical concepts to life? In this role, you’ll be the technical mastermind behind our hydraulic assemblies and manifolds. You’ll translate customers’ needs and requirements into clear and accurate 3D designs. Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with the sales team and the workshop to ensure your designs are executed to perfection. Your work will include, amongst other things:

• Designing and developing bespoke solutions based on customers’ technical requirements.
• Translating concepts and specifications into clear and accurate 3D models and technical drawings.
• Preparing production and working documentation to ensure that all necessary information, materials and instructions are available in good time.
• Working with CAD software to develop and manage technical designs.
• Work closely with production and other relevant departments to ensure the designs are implemented smoothly and to a high standard.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who fits the following profile:

• You will be awarded a bachelor’s degree.
• You have knowledge of or experience with a 3D design programme.
• Knowledge of mechanics is required; knowledge of hydraulics is an advantage.
• You work accurately and in a structured manner, and are able to meet deadlines.
• You’re a team player, but you’re also able to tackle projects on your own.
