Design Engineer

Function

This vacancy as a Design Engineer, includes the following duties:

• digital drawing and design of formwork for concrete structures in construction projects of all kinds
• preparation of bills of materials to support quotations and deliveries
• working out assignments with a high degree of care and accuracy, within the predefined planning
• you work in consultation with the representatives and customers, both in quotation and execution phase
• Reporting to the technical manager or your colleague group leader

Profile

To fill the Design Engineer job, we are looking for someone who recognises themselves in this description:

• AutoCAD holds few secrets for you
• Knowledge of or experience with 3D and Revit? That is a plus
• you have a degree in Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent through accumulated experience
• you have a good command of Dutch
• 'A day not learned is a day not lived' could be your life motto
• you have an eye for order and precision
• you can cope with stress: an approaching deadline or a challenging project do not throw you off balance
• you have knowledge of strength theory

Our client, a specialist in formwork, is growing consistently and is therefore looking to strengthen its team. They are also one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers in their sector. The company has 6,000 employees worldwide, in Belgium some 70 colleagues represent the company and this from its headquarters, just outside the Brussels ring road.

Wages:

• A gross monthly salary based on your abilities and experience, but ranging between €3000 and €4000
• meal vouchers of € 8
• eco vouchers (€ 250/year)

• CLA 90 bonus based on the result within the group, this usually results in an amount similar to the end-of-year bonus

Flexibility:

• 40-hour working week with sliding starting hours (between 7.30am and 9am)
• You will work 8 hours a day from the office in Ternat
• 20 leave days + 12 ADV days
• construction leave is included, additionally there are about 8 days of leave to be taken freely
• 30-minute lunch break
