Customer support – AutoCAD specialist

Function

As Customer Support Specialist At Niel, you will be the first point of contact for customers, account managers and internal colleagues within the kitchen department. You will combine technical expertise with a customer-focused, commercial approach and ensure that enquiries, quotations and orders are processed accurately and efficiently. In this role, you’ll work closely with the design, production and planning teams to ensure that every project is managed professionally, from enquiry to delivery.

Your role is varied and requires both precision and a flair for communication:

• You will produce technical drawings and designs for ceramic kitchen worktops in AutoCAD 2D.
• You will handle requests for quotations, in which drawings and technical details play a key role.
• You state quotations, orders and production orders and monitors it meticulously from an administrative point of view.
• You will provide technical and planning advice to clients and account managers by telephone and email.
• You will prepare for production and help with the scheduling of installations and deliveries.
• You will liaise with kitchen fitters and interior designers and help devise solutions that meet the customer’s needs.
• You work in a structured manner, maintain a clear overview and switch easily between different cases.

You’ll be taking on an in-house role with a clear commercial focus, without any intense sales pressure. It’s a role in which you’ll have a daily impact on the quality of service, technical delivery and customer satisfaction.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a motivated professional with strong skills in technical support, administration and customer communication. You are a recent graduate or have limited experience, but you are a quick learner and are ready to develop your skills further within a technical and customer-focused environment.

Your profile:

• You have bachelor’s degree level of work and thinking.
• You have a extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and, preferably, experience in drawing up kitchen worktop plans or similar technical drawings.
• You work with precision, in a structured manner and with administrative accuracy.
• You have a clear business acumen and thinks from the customer’s perspective, without focusing on hard sales.
• You communicate fluently over the phone and by email, and you keep a cool head even when things get busy.
• You speak and write fluent in Dutch and French; knowledge of French is essential.
• You are familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Business Central or a planning programme is an advantage.
• You are keen to learn, a team player and keen to gain a deeper understanding of technical products and internal processes.

Experience is a bonus, but it’s your motivation, attention to detail and customer-focused approach that really make the difference in this role.
