Customer Service Employee
Function
- As Customer Support Service, you ensure that maintenance, interventions and commissioning for customers in the East Flanders region are organised smoothly and correctly.
- Thanks to you, the maintenance planning gains structure: you coordinate appointments, monitor timing and take the available service capacity into account.
- You carefully prepare service orders and dispatch them to the right colleagues, so that technicians can get started with the necessary information.
- You enter existing maintenance contracts, follow them up and keep them administratively up to date. This keeps agreements clear for customers, technicians and internal teams.
- You also handle the administrative follow-up accurately, including invoicing. You flag missing information and prevent files from being left unresolved.
- In close collaboration with the service manager, you are the point of contact for the day-to-day planning and follow-up within the Safety department.
- You work from Wemmel in an international organisation that sells, installs, maintains and supports medical technology and safety technology. Your contribution makes a direct difference to the quality and continuity of the service provision.
Profile
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer support, service planning, dispatching, administration or a similar working environment form a solid foundation.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and French and have a good basic knowledge of English. This helps you to align clearly with customers, employees and international contacts.
- Professional and accurate communication is second nature to you: you listen, ask follow-up questions and make agreements clear, even when multiple parties require follow-up simultaneously.
- Modern IT tools don't faze you. Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP software is an advantage, but above all your digital fluency and willingness to learn systems quickly count.
- Accuracy, the ability to set priorities and remaining calm when the planning changes make you a strong service coordinator and reliable partner for the service manager.
