Credit & Insurance Advisor

Locatie: Peer, Limburg, Belgium Sector: Finance Salaris: € 2.400 - € 4.500 bruto / month Contract: Indefinite time Uren: 37.5 h/week

Function

A customer looking to buy a property often has questions about how to finance it.

Another customer wants to be sure that their family, car or home is properly insured.

And often these questions get mixed up.

That is why this well-established banking and insurance firm is looking for an Insurance & Loans Adviser who enjoys helping clients with important financial decisions.

You listen to their story, help them find the right solution and ensure they can count on personalised advice from someone they know and trust.

As an Adviser, you will assist private clients with enquiries regarding mortgages, consumer credit and insurance. You will analyse their situation, provide tailored advice and ensure their cases are properly followed up.

You don’t have to constantly go out and look for new customers yourself.

Many opportunities arise through existing clients, referrals and contacts already known to the firm.

This gives you the chance to focus on what really matters: helping customers, building trust and creating lasting relationships.

So, no high-pressure sales culture, but an environment where personalised advice and customer satisfaction are key.

Are you already working in the financial sector but find you don’t have enough time for meaningful client interactions?

Or are you looking for a role where you can work in an advisory capacity?

In that case, this could be an interesting next step.

Profile

This role is open to both junior and experienced candidates.

Do you already have experience in insurance, credit or the banking sector? If so, you’ll quickly be given the necessary autonomy and responsibility.

Are you a recent graduate or someone just starting out with a flair for business and an interest in the financial sector? If so, you’ll receive the support you need to grow into the role step by step.

More important than your experience are your motivation, business acumen and the way you interact with customers.

You recognise yourself in the following:

  • You enjoy working with people.
  • You are commercially minded without being pushy.
  • You listen to customers and work with them to find solutions.
  • You build trust easily.
  • You are keen to learn and want to develop yourself further.
  • You hold at least a bachelor's degree.
  • PCP certificates are an advantage, but not essential.
  • You’re looking for a long-term employer.

Organisation

You’ll be joining a modern and professional office that has been a mainstay in the region for many years.

Customers here make a conscious choice to receive personalised advice and have a dedicated point of contact. This fosters strong customer relationships and creates a pleasant working environment.

The team works well together and staff turnover is exceptionally low. Colleagues don’t stay here because they have to, but because they feel at home in the office.

Open communication is not just an empty promise here. The manager’s door is open, both literally and figuratively. Questions, ideas or concerns are welcomed and discussed.

This creates an environment where colleagues know, support and respect one another.

Offer

You’ll be joining an office where there’s plenty of room for open discussion and where they really look beyond the CV to see the person behind it.

Personal contact with customers is key. They are looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and supporting customers in a warm and professional manner.

You can count on:

  • A permanent contract at start-up.
  • A full-time role or a 4/5ths position.
  • Support and training tailored to your level of experience.
  • Extra support when you join as a junior.
  • An attractive remuneration package.
    • Meal vouchers of €8.
    • Wage bonus.
    • Hospitalisation insurance.
    • Option to exchange the 13th month’s salary for a car.
  • No weekend work.
  • A modern office equipped with all the necessary facilities.
  • A stable and people-centred working environment where people are happy to continue working.
