As a Credit Adviser, you support customers through key moments in their lives. You listen, analyse and translate financial options into clear solutions. In doing so, you combine commercial acumen with specialist expertise.

You don’t have to shuffle files away behind your screen. You’re right there at the table, thinking ahead and making a difference by giving clients confidence in their decisions.

Tasks

• Assisting customers with credit applications and financing enquiries
• Analysing financial situations and repayment capacity
• Drawing up bespoke credit proposals
• Monitoring cases from the initial meeting through to signing
• Maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Identifying additional financial needs and opportunities
• Working with colleagues to provide clients with comprehensive advice
• Staying up to date with legislation, market developments and credit products

Profile

You don’t have to meet all the requirements straight away. What’s more important is that you have the right attitude to support clients and develop yourself further within the firm.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• You have a bachelor's level of education
• You have experience in the field of credit or a strong interest in financial services
• You hold a PCP certificate or are willing to complete the necessary training to obtain one
• You do not see yourself working exclusively as a credit specialist in the long term, but would also like to develop expertise in investments or insurance
• You find it easy to connect with people and know how to build trust with customers
• You are not afraid to take a stand and back up your advice
• You like to take ownership of your cases and follow them up consistently
• You spot a job that needs doing and don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do
• You combine commercial acumen with a genuine interest in the customer
• You enjoy learning new things and getting to grips with new subject matter
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch
