Associate Team Leader

Function

For our client in Lummen, we are looking for an Operational Teamleader in 2 shifts. As an Operator Teamleader, you are a crucial link in our logistics organisation. Based in Lummen, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and your team to ensure that our temperature-sensitive products are handled and transported efficiently and safely. You will combine a hands-on approach with leadership to ensure daily processes run smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the day-to-day organisation and operation of the team (10-20 people);
• Act as a liaison and communication link between warehouse staff and management;
• Supervising and training new employees, while encouraging cooperation within the team;
• Contribute to achieving performance and quality objectives;
• Actively contribute ideas to achieve continuous improvement in the workplace.

Profile

To be successful in the position of Associate Team Leader in 2-shifts at our client in Lummen, you will have a combination of experience and skills that will enhance your role. We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has a good knowledge of logistics processes and practices;
• Aspires to have a strong team spirit and supports this with excellent interpersonal and listening skills;
• Able to take initiative and promote coordination within the team;
• Stress-resistant and able to remain calm in challenging situations;
• Interested in advancement opportunities to managerial positions;
• Willing to work in an alternating shift pattern (from 6-14am and 2-22pm, alternating per week).
