Are you a top-class estimator with a flair for business? As a Commercial Estimator for our client, based in picturesque North Limburg, you’ll make a real difference in the world of construction. With a turnover of 10 million and projects in both Flanders and Germany – ranging from small façade renovations to impressive turnkey halls – they are the perfect place for your costing talent to truly shine. You’ll determine the cost price, draw up quotations that win over clients and contribute ideas on the implementation. Sound challenging? • Costing: You analyse plans and specifications and use them to produce accurate cost estimates.
• Drawing up quotations and making sales: You will draw up professional quotations, explain them to clients and negotiate the terms and conditions. You will be able to convince clients of the project and build a strong relationship with them.
• Commercial advice: You advise clients on suitable construction solutions and proactively seek ways to offer them added value.
• Market analysis & networking: You keep abreast of developments in the construction sector, identify commercial opportunities and actively build up the customer base.
• Collaborate: You’ll liaise with project managers, architects and clients to align requirements and fine-tune quotations.

Profile

To make this role a success, our client is looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (a Master’s would be excellent, but is not essential).
• Experience in a similar position.
• Excellent numeracy skills and an eye for detail.
• A commercial mindset: you know how to turn quotations into projects.
• Communication skills to persuade customers and liaise with colleagues.
• An affinity for B2B projects such as Colruyt, Aldi and Basic Fit.
• A hands-on approach that fits in with our direct and regional approach.
