Function

As a Commercial Banking Officer, you play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding customer relationships and providing financial solutions tailored to customers’ individual needs. Your primary focus is on actively approaching prospects and customers to promote our services and products.

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively approaching both new and existing customers.
• Providing expert advice and support to customers on banking products and services.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Keeping abreast of market trends and developments among competitors in order to serve customers better.

Profile

To be eligible for this role as a Commercial Banking Assistant, you must meet the following requirements:

• An undergraduate degree
• Proven experience in a commercial role, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on achieving goals.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language/
• We are also looking for someone with a 'hunter’s profile': a team player who can also attract and retain customers independently.

Our client is a regional bank branch in Lievegem and Maldegem. You will be joining a close-knit team of seven colleagues, where teamwork and open communication are key.

They work cross-office and flexibly: our receptionists change location every fortnight, the credit advisors switch weekly, and the other colleagues rotate depending on needs. This dynamic ensures variety and a broad view of our clients and operations.

To further strengthen their team, they are looking for a commercial banking officer.
