Function
Optimising existing processes
- Improving process performance through the close monitoring of process parameters (trending, analysis, statistics and reporting) and the implementation of cost-saving optimisations
- Carrying out technical optimisations whilst monitoring processes
- Monitoring non-conformities, including organising and carrying out root cause analyses, updating documentation and supporting the implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
- Carrying out feasibility studies, impact assessments and documentation for process changes
Supporting the introduction of new processes
- Organising the technology transfer (transfer of technology/process) to production
- Organising and taking part in risk assessments, such as process safety and environmental risk assessments
- Review of Master Batch Records (MBR) and, where applicable, process validations and homogeneity studies
- Supporting customers during process witnessing in production
- Analysing and evaluating production campaigns and the associated data
Process expertise
- Developing in-depth knowledge of the processes and equipment
- Staying up to date with the latest technologies and developments
Cooperation and implementation
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders
- Ensuring efficient collaboration within the team and the smooth progress of projects
Profile
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, (Bio-)Engineering or an equivalent course of study
- A keen interest in and knowledge of industrial chemical processes, risk analysis and process validation
- Analytical and solution-oriented, with a proactive and results-driven “first-time-right” mindset
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Experience of chairing project meetings is an advantage.
- Well-organised, a strong planner and able to perform well under pressure
Organisation
Chemical production facility in Balen, specialising in pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications. The role focuses on optimising and improving chemical processes, implementing new processes and technologies, and collaborating with R&D and other production sites. Within the wider organisation, there are also activities relating to agrochemicals, biostimulants and sustainable/green chemistry.
Offer
- Permanent contract, indefinite.
