Function

What does your role involve?

• Analysing tender documents, plans, technical documents and bills of quantities.
• Preparing accurate cost calculations for industrial construction and infrastructure projects.
• Developing technically sound and commercially viable tenders.
• Requesting and comparing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitoring prices, deviations and missing information.
• Collaborating with project managers, pre-construction planners and internal teams.
• Determining the most suitable project approach.
• Identifying risks and proposing optimisations.

Profile

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or equivalent through education and experience. (pre-construction planners looking to progress are also welcome.)
• Initial experience with construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of plans, quantities, pricing or technical administration.
• School leavers with the right education and motivation are also eligible.
• Analytical and detail-oriented by nature.
• Strong at reviewing and interpreting technical information.
• You ask targeted questions and translate data into clear calculations.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch.
• Eager to learn, motivated and willing to develop.
• You enjoy working alongside experienced colleagues who support and guide you.

Organisation

Our partner is a multidisciplinary contractor with years of experience in public works and industrial projects. Together with their motivated and enthusiastic staff, they work on their growth ambitions every day.

Offer

What can you expect?

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week with a salary in line with your education, relevant experience and responsibilities.
• The standard construction holiday schedule is followed. In addition, there are two flexible leave days this year; exceptions are only open for discussion for certain internal roles.
• You will work from Harelbeke or Destelbergen. The fixed working environment makes it easy to align with your team on a daily basis and receive sufficient guidance.
• You will receive extensive training and support from experienced colleagues. Through internal training programmes, you can further develop your technical and professional knowledge.
• There are real opportunities to grow horizontally or vertically, for example towards pre-construction planning, project management or another construction specialisation.
