Our client, a Class 6 construction firm, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a passion for structural work. The company specialises in new-builds, refurbishments and interior design, for both large and small projects. They are based on the outskirts of the Kempen region and have sites throughout Flanders. As part of a warm, family-run business with an entrepreneurial spirit, you’ll soon feel at home. Below you’ll find the detailed duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the administrative preparation of quotation files.
• Thorough analysis of tender documents based on the available documentation (plans, specifications, bills of quantities, conditions of execution, etc.).
• Preparing tenders and checking bills of quantities for compliance with the plans and the specifications.
• Organising tenders amongst subcontractors and suppliers, including reviewing, comparing and incorporating the quotations into the cost price calculation.
• To provide support for projects currently underway, particularly with regard to calculating additional or reduced works.

Profile

Profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in construction (from structural work to finishing) or equivalent experience.
• School leavers are welcome.
• Driven, flexible, results-oriented and observant, with an eye for detail.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings.
• Driven and able to cope with stress, with the ability to meet deadlines without losing sight of the end result.
