Business Banker

Function

• As a Business Banker, you guide entrepreneurs through their financial questions and translate their situation into well-founded proposals that move their business forward.
• You work primarily behind the scenes: reading balance sheets and financial figures, analysing files and preparing decisions for credit or other financing applications are part of your regular remit.
• Drawing on your experience in business banking, you provide clients with targeted advice. You arrange appointments smoothly, ask the right questions and ensure that every conversation leads to a clear next step.
• Accurate administrative follow-up keeps your files reliable and well-organised. Experience from an accountancy firm or with similar financial administration is therefore particularly valuable.
• You take responsibility for your files from start to finish and liaise with colleagues in a timely manner when additional expertise or a second opinion is needed.
• After a thorough onboarding period, you will have the space to work independently from Beringen, while being able to count on an engaged team that thinks along with you and supports you.
• You contribute to building an office organisation that is in motion. Change, further collaboration between different locations and a more efficient way of working are opportunities you see as chances to grow stronger.

Profile

• You have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in business banking, commercial financial services or a similar role in which you analysed company files.
• Reading balance sheets and financial information comes naturally to you. You can critically assess a file and clearly translate the key insights into advice or a decision.
• Strong administrative accuracy is essential: you work in a structured manner, monitor commitments and ensure no important details are lost from a file.
• You are willing to take ownership, show initiative and bear responsibility. That attitude helps you to professionally support entrepreneurs and move the team forward.
• You are open to guidance, change and regular one-to-one coaching. You don't need to know everything already, but you want to keep learning and genuinely act on feedback.

You will join a strong team that is ready to think along, provide support and build further together. The office currently operates across two locations, with a total of eighteen colleagues and ten offices. In the longer term, there is an ambition to centralise everything, which should bring even greater cohesion and efficiency.
