Billing officer
Function
Figures only really add up if the whole process is right.
As an Invoicing Officer, you will ensure that orders, invoices and administration are seamless. You sit at the crossroads of sales, logistics and finance and ensure that everything runs smoothly and correctly.
You keep an overview. You spot mistakes before they become problems. And you make sure customers get clarity.
Tasks
- Processing and following up customer orders in the ERP system
- Checking prices, conditions and order details
- Preparing and sending sales invoices
- Preparation of credit notes and follow-up of contractual invoicing
- Checking delivery documents and coordinating with logistics
- Managing and updating customer data and price agreements
- Act as a point of contact for customers with administrative queries
- Working with internal teams around planning, delivery and invoicing
- Preparation and management of commercial documents and reports
- Participating in process optimisation and monitoring data quality
Profile
We are looking for someone who brings structure to figures and processes, and who gets energy from correct follow-up.
You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:
- Education within accounting, economics or relevant experience
- Experience in invoicing or sales administration is a plus
- Good knowledge of VAT rules and administrative processes
- You work accurately and have an eye for detail
- You keep a cool head during deadlines
- You communicate fluently and customer-oriented
- You are organisationally strong and prioritise easily
- You enjoy working together and think in a solution-oriented way
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset
- Fluent in Dutch, with good basic French and English
