Assistant forwarder

Function

A selection of your responsibilities as a shipping agent:

• You will organise international sea freight shipments and oversee them from start to finish.
• You will liaise with customers, hauliers, shipping lines and other logistics partners worldwide.
• You will ensure that import and export documents are processed correctly.
• You will monitor the schedule and take action when unexpected changes occur.
• You work closely with customers to find the best logistics solution.
• You’ll build up your knowledge of international trade and the supply chain step by step.

Profile

Who are we looking for?

• You have recently graduated or have some initial experience in logistics, administration, international trade or a similar field.
• You’re curious, keen to learn and keen to develop your skills.
• You like structure, but you also enjoy finding solutions when plans change.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English.
• You enjoy working with clients and colleagues in an international environment.

Do you have a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business management, international trade or another relevant subject? If so, this is a great opportunity to put your knowledge into practice.
