Assistant planner

Function

Our client is looking for temporary support in the planning department. As an assistant planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating multimodal transport solutions. You will support various internal departments and act as a back-up within the team. Key responsibilities include:

• Creation and management of operational files
• Processing corrections and reporting discrepancies
• Supporting transport planners with various transport orders
• Management of operational administration

Profile

For this replacement role, we are looking for an assistant planner who identifies with the following:

• Logistics experience is nice but not an absolute must. Administratively, you are strong!
• A good command of English; a smattering of Dutch is certainly also recommended
• Affinity with logistics and transport within Europe
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Stress-resistant and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
