Function

You will provide support for all aspects of the accounts and ensure that everything is processed correctly and on time.

• Booking of purchase and sales invoices
• Processing financial transactions
• Preparing and filing VAT returns
• Support with month-end closings
• Monitoring multiple entities (including international ones)
• Basic credit control and customer follow-up
• Ad hoc support in finance and administration

You will work closely with the chief accountant and be given the opportunity to take on more responsibility step by step.

Profile

• First experience in accountancy
• Good with numbers and works with precision
• Calm, organised and reliable
• Hands-on approach and takes responsibility
• A team player with a healthy dose of maturity
• Language skills: Dutch + basic French/English (knowledge of other languages would be an advantage)
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. AFAS) is an advantage, but not essential

Organisation

You’ll be joining a West Flemish company with international operations (including Europe and Asia). The company has around 30 employees and has a no-nonsense culture.
