Function

• As a File Manager Accountancy, you manage a varied client portfolio and ensure that financial files are processed correctly, clearly, and on time.
• From bookings and VAT returns to year-end closings and reports: you take charge of files step by step and visibly build up expertise along the way.
• The clients are active in a wide range of sectors, ensuring your working day offers sufficient variety and you regularly encounter new financial situations.
• You work as independently as possible and enjoy figuring things out yourself, whilst experienced file managers and managers are available for consultation and guidance.
• By monitoring your files closely, you flag points of attention in a timely manner and help clients to view their figures with greater insight.
• You work from an established accountancy environment in Hasselt, with a compact team in which different experience levels collaborate and knowledge is shared easily.
• Depending on your experience, you will gradually take on more responsibility, allowing you to grow as an accountancy professional without immediately bearing full responsibility for a complete client portfolio.

Profile

• You preferably have 1 to 2 years of experience in accountancy, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role, meaning you are already familiar with the basics of file processing.
• A qualification in accountancy, bookkeeping, taxation, or a related field is a welcome addition; relevant practical experience can equally form a strong foundation.
• Accuracy and structure are important, as you manage multiple files and want to be able to rely on correct figures and timely follow-up.
• You readily take initiative and independently seek out solutions, but also know when aligning with a colleague or manager is the best next step.
• An open, calm communication style helps you to collaborate pleasantly with colleagues and maintain professional contact with clients from various sectors.
