Technical order processor

As a technical orderly, you should expect the following:

As a technical order processor, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You manage the entire mailbox of orders.
• You will check the orders and see if any technical items are missing, if so you will contact the customer (B2B) to fine-tune these items.
• You will refer orders to the technical draftsmen (3) who will convert them into production drawings.
• After the technical draftsmen have made the production drawing, you check everything again for completeness before letting everything go into production.
• You guard deadlines well and make planning together with the technical draftsmen.
• You inform clients about the progress of their case.
• Most items will be ordered automatically from the system, but a small amount of purchasing will also remain in the remit.
• You are also responsible for complaint processing service after-sales.

Our client is a Belgian manufacturer of made-to-measure wardrobes, dressings, built-in cupboards, etc. They work on a project basis for B2B customers (professional sellers and installers) and have been in existence for more than 30 years. To further expand their team, they are currently looking for a technical order processor to coordinate the team of technical draughtsmen.

As a technical order processor, you largely possess the following profile:

• You have a technical background from experience or education (wood, construction, interior,...).
• You already have experience within bespoke projects (bespoke furniture, joinery,...)
• You can read plans well.
• You speak very good French and Dutch.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
• You work in an accurate and organised manner.
• You can keep a good helicopter view.
• You are very communicative, both to customers and internal colleagues.
• You are a real team player.
• You highly value quality and customer satisfaction.
