Technical Draftsman

You will have an open-ended contract and a market-based salary. You will work from the offices in Aalst.

As a technical draftsman, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You are the indispensable link between the designers and production. You convert plans into production drawings and parts lists.
• You will be able to detect any conflicts between the measurement plan and the design and further detail the designs constructively, supplementing them and providing all necessary information so that both production and our installers on site can deliver the dream kitchen for our customers.
• You consult with the designers in case of design conflicts, uncertainties and ambiguities, striving for the best possible quality and aesthetic result. You take the lead and work in the service of the designer and the end customer.

Our client operates within finishing, specifically within bathrooms and kitchens. They offer creative advice and guidance to their clients. They work mainly for private individuals (B2C and through the project market). They are currently looking for a technical draughtsman.

As a technical draftsman, you can largely identify yourself with the following requirements:

• You have good spatial insight and a feel for interiors.
• You can work accurately and with concentration and are independent in organising your own tasks. You can set priorities according to the predefined planning.
• You are stress resistant and flexible.
• You are an expert in the drawing programme autocad (2D), knowledge of the kitchen drawing programme Winner is an advantage.
• You think in solutions and communicate smoothly with all parties.
• You are punctual and precise in performing your tasks.
• You hold a degree in technical drawing, wood technology, product development or interior design or similar competences through experience are an asset.
