Draftsman/CNC operator

After the manager has carried out the measurement, the sketch ends up in your hands. After briefly going over this sketch, you get to work in the Kompas drawing programme for designing/drawing the wooden staircase.

No two designs are the same, so you will often start from a blank sheet. Sometimes they can spend weeks brainstorming about how to design/implement a certain project.

The design/drawing of the wooden stairs will be done together with your colleague Koen.

Besides drawing/designing in Kompas, you will also be responsible for setting up the CNC machine with AlphaCam.

For the position of draughtsman/CNC operator you will be working in a joinery specialized in wooden stairs. Everyone in the company is passionate about wood and stairs!

For the position of draftsman/CNC operator, you preferably have a Bachelor's degree in Wood Technology or equivalent through experience.

• You have a passion for wood!
• If you have a background in carpentry, that is a big plus.
• You are not afraid to set up and operate the CNC machine yourself.
• You are enterprising, eager to learn and punctual. One small mistake in the design/drawing can render an entire staircase unusable.
