As a site manager, you are independently responsible for the complete realisation of your projects on the industrial site. What will your days consist of? 

- Together with the project manager or fellow yard manager, you analyse the file or the order and draw up a joint planning.

- You monitor the costs and try to get as much return as possible. 

- You will have your own regular customer in the (petro)chemical sector. At this site, you will be considered a familiar face. You will have your own desk and can build up a relationship with colleagues and client. 

- For this client, you will carry out all kinds of assignments; from small jobs to large projects in earthworks and roadworks. Variety guaranteed.

- Since we work 'in private' here, you advise the client on technical matters.

- You have your own permanent experienced team(s) to carry out your work. You work with your own modern equipment and tools.

For our client we are looking for a site manager with an interest in earthworks and roadworks.

The company in question is located in the north of Antwerp. They remain loyal to the region and therefore work mainly in the province of Antwerp. Besides public works, they mainly work on (petro)chemical sites in the region. You will also be employed there. By placing a fixed team at each site, they always build up a good relationship with their customers.

The company was founded 60 years ago by its founder. In the meantime, the business has been passed on to the descendants and the family atmosphere is still very much alive. Would you like to work for a local company that pays extra attention to the human factor? Then you are already on the right track!

What is expected of you as a site manager? 

- Safety is your priority because you work on an industrial site.

- You will manage your own team; managerial and organisational skills are a must.

- Fluency with computer and programmes such as MS Office is not a problem. You can write professional mails.

- Communication is very important in this job. You can express yourself well in Dutch.

- You have a construction background. This can occur in various forms; graduate or bachelor building, industrial engineer building, experience in the sector and/or function,... 

- Affinity and interest in the ground and road construction sector.
