Claims Manager

In this varied role, you will be responsible for receiving, recording and managing claims from policyholders. You will ensure careful handling of files by gathering information, assessing claims and maintaining clear communication with policyholders, brokers and other parties involved.

As a starting point, you will mainly focus on the administrative management of claims and offering customer-friendly advice. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to gradually grow in your role and become more involved in following up expert assessments on site. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will guide and support you during this learning process.

• Solving questions and collecting missing information through smooth communication with customers and partners.
• Assessing claims on validity and estimate the extent of damage.
• Contributing to a positive customer experience, even in challenging situations, through professional and empathetic communication.
• At a later stage, attending and following up on on-site expert assessments under the guidance of experienced colleagues's.

You will play a crucial role in the handling of claims, starting with administrative responsibilities and eventually progressing to following up claims settlements on site. This position offers a nice mix of administrative work and customer contact, with the opportunity to develop further towards expertise.

• You have initial experience in damages or are equal through a relevant degree.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You show empathy and have the ability to act customer-focused, even in difficult situations.
• You are fluent in Dutch, both orally and in writing.
• You are in possession of a driving licence B so that you can travel to expertises.
