Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will join a company with around 35 permanent and in-house employees in the Waasland region. Moreover, they work on large international projects in various industries.
Furthermore, you will join an SME with a flat structure and direct lines of communication. You will be given a lot of independence and responsibility in carrying out your job.

You work a 39-hour week which entitles you to 6 ADV days on top of your statutory leave. Moreover, there are no collective weeks of leave.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will communicate technically with industrial customers on projects within piping and metal structures.
• You will prepare and follow up quotes with customers.
• You will prepare the planning and manage it in terms of engineering, production and assembly.
• During the engineering phase, you will supervise the design so that everything meets the customer's requirements.
• You actively participate in safety policy.
• You will attend project meetings.
• You will be responsible for your project from quotation to completion.
• You work closely with the engineering department, production and the assembly team that you help manage.
• You can solve ad hoc problems and assess riscio's.

Our client is active in piping and metal constructions. They operate in the Benelux, France and Germany within various industries such as chemical, steel, non-ferrous and energy sectors. They have production sites in Waasland and in Germany. For their Waasland site, they are currently looking for a Project Manager to strengthen the existing team for the Flanders and Northern France region.

As a Project Manager, you can largely tick off the requirements below:

• You hold a technical degree: engineer/bachelor or equivalent through experience.
• You already have engineering experience preferably within piping and/or metal structures.
• If you have experience within assembly then this is a plus.
• You are fascinated by technology.
• You are driven and stress-resistant
• You are a real team player and problem solver.
• You speak very good Dutch and English. Knowledge of French a plus in the context of customers in northern France.
