Piping project manager

As Piping Project Leader, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• In consultation with your team, you will coordinate the entire execution process from quotation/tenders to work preparation, execution and delivery of the project (black utilities or construction).
• You will analyse tenders/offers and delve into specifications, plans and measurements.
• You will watch over budgets, planning and be responsible for the composition and management of an efficient team.
• You act as a pivotal figure between customer, work preparation and production and ensure timely, quality delivery of your projects.
• You can read, adapt and interpret technical plans.
• You will coordinate with service purchasing the necessary orders with suppliers and prepare the production file.
• You proactively monitor sites through site meetings and own initiative.
• You consider what implementation difficulties might arise and what alternative implementation methods might be possible.

As Piping Project Leader, you will largely meet the requirements below:

• You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree or are equivalent through experience.
• You have relevant experience as a project leader in metal structures or piping.
• You are conscientious, solution-oriented and strong analytically and organisationally.
• You have a VOL-VCA or are willing to obtain this certificate.
• You are a team player capable of motivating a team but also willing to take on individual responsibilities.
• You are flexible in tasks and hours.
• You can work fluently with a PC and have experience with Office applications and Autocad/Inventor/Solidworks.
• You are fluent in Dutch. Knowledge of English and/or French may be a plus in the context of communication with subcontractors.

Our client has been operating for more than 25 years and specialises in industrial pipelines, pressure vessels and metal structures. They are responsible for design, construction, installation and maintenance. Their customers are mainly in the (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical, food, water purification,... Currently, they have about 50 employees of their own. Due to further growth, they are currently looking for a Piping Project Leader.
