Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will be responsible for the technical, financial and administrative follow-up of projects and construction sites.
• You prepare your sites: drawing up quotations, checking specifications and measurements, drawing up technical sheets, drawing up VCA files, etc.
• You control the works carried out and direct the technicians.
• You will attend site meetings, organise toolbox meetings and check compliance with safety regulations.
• You will be responsible for planning and budget management.
• You select the material and make the necessary calculations.
• You are the first point of contact for all parties involved and report project progress to the main project leader.

As a Project Manager, you can largely tick off the items below:

• You enjoyed a technical bachelor's or master's degree or are equivalent through your experience.
• You have a solid all-round technical knowledge, especially within mechanics.
• You are customer-friendly and communicative.
• You speak very good Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• You have a flexible and hands-on attitude.
• You have a dynamic and creative group spirit.
• You are in possession of a driving licence B.
• You are computer literate and work well with the standard MS Office packages (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• You have weekly meetings with the main project manager in the office, the remaining time you plan yourself as efficiently as possible (recruiting, home work, office).

Our client has been active for years as a reliable partner for maintenance, metal & inox constructions, rigging works, assembly works, etc. They take care of preparation, production and execution, mainly in the chemical, waste processing & food industry. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a project leader to strengthen their team.

As a Project Manager, you will join an SME with around 100 employees where you will undoubtedly be challenged.
