For this vacancy of project manager in civil engineering in Berchem, we are looking for an experienced profile. You already have several years of experience as a draughtsman and a short experience as project leader or manager. You make contacts easily, like to take initiative and have an eye for detail. 

Here is an overview of your tasks: 

• You work closely with the architect; as a support for visiting assignments.
• Jointly with the architect to follow up larger projects. 
• Independent elaboration of smaller studies.
• When carrying out the studies, also ask the stability engineer specific questions.
• After an initial customer contact, you draw up the first sketch. 
• You pass on the assignment and instructions to the draughtsmen in the office. 
• You check the detailed plans, reinforcement and formwork plans. 
• You are constantly watching over the improvement of services and the consolidation of customer relations. 
• You support the draughtsmen when the workload is too high.

Our client is an engineering consultancy located in Berchem, Antwerp. They specialise in civil construction, more specifically water purification and tank farms. Most of their clients and projects are located in the port of Antwerp. Currently, they work with 8 people. 

Together, they work out the plans in detail. In the future, they look forward to more projects and also to expanding their office. 

For the vacancy of project manager for a study bureau in Berchem, we are looking for an experienced profile. You already have a few years of experience in a similar function and a great interest in civil construction. 

Furthermore, you meet the following expectations: 

• You have a Bachelor's degree in construction or equivalent through experience.
• You are able to work independently. 
• You can manage a work schedule according to priorities. 
• Experience with this open position is definitely a plus. 
• You have a fluent command of the Dutch language and have knowledge of professional terms in French or English.
