Manufacturing engineer

You will work on the NPI (New Product Introductions) team.

Tasks:

• Together with the team, prepare the estimation and price of NPI's.
• Determine manufacturability and process sequence of machines in collaboration with production.
• Engineering of production moulds and auxiliary tools in Solidworks.
• Managing Draftsmen producing 2D drawings.
• Support work preparation with 3D CAD/CAM.
• Introduction of new products into production.
• Preparation of BOMs and production structures in the ERP system.
• Liaise with suppliers for purchase prices.
• Monitor efficiency within the welding department/assembly regarding robot usage.
• Escalate manufacturing or cost issues to the production team.
• Maintain Process FMEA and prepare control plans with quality.
• Keeping in touch with customers throughout the process.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
• Several years of experience accumulated in a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of Dutch.
• Good knowledge of IT and ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in 3D CAD/CAM, preferably SolidWorks.
• Team player with strong organisational skills.
• Knowledge of welding, turning, milling and other manufacturing processes.
• Be able to think conceptually in moulds.
• Having a sense of estimating costs.

This company specialises in the serial supply of metal components and/or assembled finished products. Inhouse knowledge of turning, milling, sheet metal or complex welding assemblies, or assembly of complete assemblies.
