Production/Process engineer

We are looking for an experienced profile for a challenging role within a sustainable and innovative working environment. You will have the opportunity to embrace the full process of glass production and play a crucial role in improving product quality and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency, both within your department and across departments.
• Define, monitor, and optimise production processes and ensure they are applied correctly.
• Oversee the efficiency of the production process and make optimisations where possible.
• Study the operation and capabilities of our machines to identify improvements.
• Develop and implement new procedures.
• Function as key user in the implementation of specific production software (ERP, production planning, CAM system, etc.).
• Being an example in promoting our safety culture.
• Reporting to the department manager.

• At least a bachelor of engineering or a master of industrial sciences.
• Initial experience in the process industry is a plus.
• You are open-minded and eager to learn. We will train you in the exciting and challenging process of glass production.
• Driven by continuous improvement, you go for the best alternatives and solutions.
• You have a systematic and analytical approach with a strong sense of responsibility with regard to project finance, project planning and knowledge sharing with colleagues's in general.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
• You are highly motivated, eager to learn and willing to broaden your knowledge within your department.
• You can function in a team working together on a complete project.
• Strong people management skills with a view to potential growth into a managerial position.
• A dynamic personality with a proactive and innovative working attitude.
• You are present on the production floor.
