All-in insurance and finance

A strong partnership starts with a good match. All-inSurance & Finance is a client of CTRL-F and knows how important it is to find people who not only have the right skills, but also really fit into the team. That’s why we’d like to share their story – about growth, recruiting in a tight market, and why, for business manager Gaetan, enthusiasm often carries more weight than a perfect CV.

The financial and insurance sector is changing rapidly. Firms are growing, merging and pooling their expertise. At the same time, specialist talent remains in short supply. For All-inSurance & Finance, these two trends go hand in hand. After all, anyone who wants to grow further needs the right people.

In 2025, two programmes merged to form a single organisation. Futuria, led by Gaetan, built up strong expertise in life insurance, savings and investments. CPS, led by Pascal Slock, focused on traditional insurance and banking activities. Today, these specialisms work together within a single organisation, spread across various business units and locations, with Gaetan and Pascal at the helm. With around twenty staff members, several partners and various locations, the team continues to grow.

We spoke to the manager, Gaetan, about that growth. And, above all, about the people they need to make it a reality.

You’ve grown significantly over the past few years. What is the structure of All-inSurance & Finance today?

Gaetan: “In fact, two stories have come together. Futuria grew out of Kantoor Timmerman and specialised primarily in life insurance, savings plans, investments and online services. Then there was CPS, with a strong focus on traditional insurance and banking activities.”.

”By 2025, we had pooled our resources. Today, we operate through various business units and have all that expertise in-house. That enables us to support our clients in a much broader way.”

You all grow, but emphasise at the same time strong it familial character. Why is that so important?

Gaetan: “Because we want to stay close to our customers. We don’t want anyone to feel like just a number. Customers have designated points of contact and know who to turn to. We, as business owners, also remain available if there’s a genuine issue.”.

We want to retain that personal touch, even as we grow. That is why we have made a conscious decision to operate from multiple locations. Being accessible online is important and convenient, but anyone who prefers to visit us in person should also have that option.

”So we want to grow without becoming more distant. That balance is essential to us.”

Makes that growth it also more difficult to the correct staff at find?

Gaetan: “Finding good people has always been difficult. But you realise that in our sector, it’s becoming an increasingly pressing issue. Many roles require technical knowledge, but it doesn’t stop there.

”You’re constantly working with people. So you need to be empathetic, a good communicator and able to build trust. It’s precisely that combination of technical knowledge and people skills that makes strong candidates so rare.”

What weighs for you it heaviest at a new colleague?

Gaetan: “Enthusiasm. That’s really a pet subject of mine.”.

I’d rather take on someone with a little less technical knowledge but with the right drive and people skills than someone who knows everything technically but doesn’t seem very enthusiastic.

”You can hone your technical knowledge. People in our sector generally have the ability to pick up new things quickly. But you need to already have the passion, drive and humanity within you.”

Is also the way whereupon people to a new job search changed?

Gaetan: “Certainly. In the past, people used to approach companies directly more often, or rely on their own network. These days, it is mainly experienced candidates who are more likely to seek the assistance of a specialist recruitment agency.”.

”Incidentally, this isn’t just something you see among older professionals. Younger people are also opting for this more and more. The way people view and look for work has simply changed.”

How came you all at CTRL-F rightly?

Gaetan: “Through a fellow estate agent who had already worked with CTRL-F. He told me that CTRL-F has a good understanding of the financial sector and is looking for strong candidates for firms.”.

”That specialisation was the deciding factor for us. You want to work with someone who understands the skills a role requires, but who also knows what sort of person would be a good fit within your organisation.”

What expected then you specifically from a recruitment partner?

Gaetan: “Particularly the fact that the pre-selection has already taken place.

Some agencies send profiles through very quickly, sometimes even before they’ve actually spoken to the person themselves. We’re not keen on that. If you invest in a partnership with a specialist agency, you expect them to do their bit properly.

”At CTRL-F, we’ve noticed that this screening process is in place. The candidates we interview have already been assessed in advance to see if they’re a potential fit for our company. That makes the process a lot more efficient.”

One of those matches was Erika. Hie take a look your following that back?

Gaetan: “Erika came from a much larger organisation, with a fixed structure and clear job descriptions. A family business works a bit differently, though. Here, there’s sometimes a bit more ‘controlled chaos’. One day isn’t necessarily the same as the next.”.

So it took a bit of adjusting at first. But she took to it very well. Her drive has only grown. Today, she’s a very strong player in our team.”

Which advice give your other offices that specialised talent search?

Gaetan: “Don’t be stingy about it. And by that I don’t just mean financially.

Take your time to find the right person. Even if you’re working with a good recruitment agency. A strong match takes time and effort, but in the long run, it will pay off handsomely.

”And once you’ve found someone, keep investing in them. In our sector, human capital is paramount. People make the difference. So give them the space to grow.”

What state there the upcoming years still on the schedule?

Gaetan: “A lot. We want to continue to invest heavily and grow further over the next ten years. There are quite a few firms in our sector that are looking into partnerships or mergers. We will continue to explore opportunities in this area as well.”.

We also want to expand our presence to more locations. But whatever we do, we must ensure that the family-run atmosphere is preserved.

Our staff are based across various locations. That is why we make a point of bringing the team together regularly. Everyone needs to feel that they are part of the same whole.

”That is ultimately what we’re aiming for: to be there for our customers at a local level, whilst at the same time working together as one strong team.”

The correct growth begins at the correct people

Growth isn’t just about more locations, more expertise or more customers. It’s about the people who help bring that story to life.

And that is precisely where All-inSurance & Finance and CTRL-F are on the same wavelength. It’s not just about finding someone with the right CV. It’s about finding someone who’s technically up to scratch, a good fit in terms of personality and, above all, is keen to get started.

Because you keep developing your skills. The right drive? You can just feel it.
