Work Planner / Estimator

Function

As a Work Planner / Estimator, you play a crucial role within the team. In this varied role, you will be responsible for:

• Project preparation and costing
• Analysing project plans, drawing up estimates and projections, identifying potential cost savings, and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders
• As well as being meticulous, you work proactively and communicate clearly with the project management team to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of cost estimates

Profile

For the role of work planner, we are looking for a motivated professional with the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in work planning or cost estimation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with costing and planning software is a major asset
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• A results-oriented mindset combined with a team-oriented approach
