WMS & Logistics Process Specialist

Function

For a strong and growing logistics organisation in the region Sint-Niklaas We are looking for a WMS & Logistics Process Specialist. In this role, you will combine your knowledge of logistics processes with a keen interest in systems and process optimisation. You will act as the link between operations, projects and IT, and play a key role in the further development of the warehouse management system.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing and optimising warehouse and logistics processes.
• Supporting implementations and improvement projects within the WMS (preferably SAP EWM).
• Testing new processes and systems and overseeing go-live activities.
• Act as the point of contact for operational enquiries regarding the WMS and logistics processes.
• Drawing up and maintaining work instructions and process documentation.
• Working with operational teams, IT and project staff to successfully implement improvements.

Profile

You combine analytical insight with a hands-on approach and feel at home in a logistics environment. You work in a structured manner, communicate effectively with various stakeholders and derive energy from improving processes.

In addition, you possess:

• At least 3 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with SAP EWM or another warehouse management system.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of logistics processes; experience with Lean would be an advantage.
• An interest in data analysis and process improvement.
