Site Manager Infrastructure Works

Function

• As Site Manager infra, you take day-to-day charge of assigned sites from the preparatory phase through to completion.
• The organisation, coordination and control of the works rest with you, ensuring that teams, subcontractors, suppliers and materials work together efficiently.
• You monitor the planning, budget and quality of execution, and intervene in a timely manner when site conditions require it.
• By regularly aligning with clients, partners and other stakeholders, you keep communication clear and progress visible.
• Close collaboration with internal departments supports you in the preparation, administration, procurement and practical follow-up of the projects.
• Safety has a fixed place in your approach: you ensure correct working methods and encourage careful execution on site.
• You report directly to the project manager and keep them informed of the planning, results, points of attention and any risks.
• With the necessary autonomy, you organise your sites independently and take responsibility for a result on which all parties involved can rely.

Profile

• A professional bachelor's degree in Construction, a master's degree in civil engineering or equivalent practical experience provides a solid foundation for this role.
• You preferably bring 5 to 10 years of experience in a comparable role within infrastructure, road construction, public works or a related construction environment.
• A valid VCA certificate is required, as working safely and consciously forms an essential part of your daily responsibilities.
• You communicate clearly and respectfully with a range of interlocutors; those social skills help you to keep collaboration on site running smoothly and to align expectations in a timely manner.
• You combine a results-driven, accurate and structured approach with initiative and problem-solving ability, so that you maintain oversight and make decisions even in unexpected situations.
