Function

How do you ensure that a site continues to run efficiently?

  • As a site manager infra, you take on the day-to-day management of assigned infrastructure sites in and around Neder-over-Heembeek. You ensure that people, materials, planning and execution connect logically.
  • From the preparatory phase through to completion, you monitor the progress, quality and practical feasibility of the works.
  • The site coordinator in you maintains the overview: you align with internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers and other involved partners.
  • You monitor planning, budget and work organisation closely, so that the site continues to run efficiently and adjustments are made in a timely manner.
  • When a technical, organisational or practical bottleneck arises, you identify it quickly and translate it into a workable solution.
  • You ensure a safe and orderly working environment and encourage clear agreements on site.
  • Through clear reporting to the project manager, you make the progress, points of attention and results of your site visible.
  • With your presence and oversight, you ensure that infrastructure works progress step by step and ultimately deliver a sustainable result.

Profile

Do you work accurately and with a results-oriented mindset?

And do you prefer to tackle challenges proactively?

  • A professional bachelor's degree in construction or a master's degree in civil engineering forms your educational foundation.
  • Equivalent experience within the construction or infrastructure sector is also considered.
  • You bring approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, for example as a site manager infrastructure, site coordinator or in a position with comparable responsibility.
  • A valid VCA certificate is required; technical knowledge helps you to make decisions on site with sufficient insight.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully with various stakeholders. This is important for aligning expectations and ensuring smooth collaboration on site.
  • Structure, ownership and proactivity characterise your approach: you do not wait when you spot risks or delays, but take responsibility and steer purposefully.
