Are you looking for the next step in your career as a site manager? For our client, a company in road construction and infrastructure works in the greater Mechelen area, we are looking for an experienced and passionate site manager.

What will you do?

As a site manager, you are in charge of day-to-day management on the site. You plan and coordinate the work, direct teams and subcontractors and monitor both the progress and the quality of execution. You are the point of contact for all parties involved on the site and report directly to the project leader.

Your tasks:

• Planning, coordinating and monitoring work on site
• Managing executive staff and subcontractors
• Monitoring progress, quality and safety
• Report and communicate with project management
• Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers and colleagues
• Identifies bottlenecks in time and thinks in terms of solutions

Profile

Who are we looking for?

• You have an engineering degree (or equivalent through experience)
• You have relevant experience as a site manager in road construction/infra
• You are organisationally strong, communicatively skilled and hands-on
• You work independently and are solution-oriented
• You have knowledge of common safety standards and quality regulations

Organisation

Our client is an established player in the sector and specialises in the construction, maintenance and renovation of (high-speed) roads, cycle paths, car parks and other public spaces. It also has extensive expertise in sewerage works.
