Wealth adviser

Function

As a wealth adviser, your focus is on the financial assets of private clients. Your work centres heavily on providing advice and engaging with clients, and you will be given increasing responsibility.

Your duties will include:

• You will discuss private clients’ assets and financial objectives with them.
• You assess their financial situation and expectations.
• You provide advice on wealth accumulation and investments.
• You will discuss solutions relating to, amongst other things, life insurance.
• You will gradually build up your knowledge of loans, such as mortgages and instalment loans.
• You’ll proactively reach out to existing customers to generate new enquiries and arrange meetings.
• You will first deal with the highest-priority customers and then work through the remaining customer lists independently.
• You keep a close eye on your appointments and client files.
• You’ll contribute ideas on how to further develop the customer relationship.
• You will work alongside the other specialists within the firm and contribute to our shared objectives.

The role is deliberately advisory in nature. You will spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on meetings, advising clients and building relationships.

Profile

Experience in wealth management is not essential for this role. An enthusiastic school leaver may also be considered.

• A good command of Dutch.

A master’s degree or a course in banking and insurance is a significant asset. This provides you with a relevant financial foundation and means you do not need to retake certain FSMA training courses.

Organisation

You will be joining an office that has undergone significant growth over the past year. The team is young, dynamic and fully focused on further expanding the range of services it offers.

Today, the focus is mainly on private clients. At the same time, the firm is looking ahead: from 2027, it intends to focus more strongly on professional clients and to capitalise further on that growth in 2028.

Within the team, there are various areas of specialisation, with a clear focus on wealth management, lending and insurance. As a wealth adviser, you’ll be given the opportunity to further develop your own expertise. You won’t be left to your own devices: there are weekly team meetings to discuss targets and results, and your personal development is reviewed on an individual basis.

As well as work, there’s also time for team activities. These include bowling, regular lunches and events such as the Waregem Koerse, the annual fair and the Christmas market. New colleagues are also welcomed with a breakfast.
