What are your responsibilities as Warehouse Officer?

Warehouse operations

• Carrying out day-to-day warehouse activities to support production and logistics processes
• Processing of incoming goods, internal goods flows and outgoing consignments
• Receiving, checking, storing, picking and dispatching materials in accordance with the applicable health and safety and quality procedures
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of various warehouse zones, including automated and external warehouses
• Co-ordinating day-to-day operations with production, transport and planning
• Monitoring the slot-booking system

Stock and storage

• Correctly processing goods movements in SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM
• Monitoring stock accuracy through cycle counts and physical stock-takes
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies in collaboration with the relevant departments
• Identifying stock issues and proposing corrective actions
• Ensuring a well-organised warehouse structure and the optimal use of storage locations

Quality, safety and continuous improvement

• Actively contributing to a safe, orderly and efficient working environment
• Make proposals to improve warehouse processes, material flows and warehouse layout
• Supporting Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Compliance with EHS guidelines, quality procedures and internal work instructions
• Reporting operational deviations and contributing to sustainable solutions

Profile

Your profile as Warehouse Officer

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent through experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM or another WMS
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with scanning and warehouse systems is an advantage
• Excellent command of Dutch and English
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
• Willing to work in 2 teams: 7 am–3 pm and 3 pm–11 pm, with a late shift on Fridays from 3 pm–7 pm
