Warehouse Officer

Function

For our client we are looking for a Warehouse Officer. In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and ensure that goods are received, stored and dispatched safely, correctly and efficiently. You work closely with production, transport and planning and, thanks to your accuracy and proactive attitude, contribute to a smooth goods flow and the further optimisation of warehouse processes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Coordinating daily warehouse activities and goods flows.
• Receiving, checking, storing, picking and dispatching goods.
• Managing and monitoring stock data in SAP or another WMS.
• Aligning warehouse operations with production, transport and planning.
• Contributing to a safe working environment and the continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Profile

For the position of Warehouse Officer we are looking for an accurate and organisationally strong professional who enjoys taking responsibility within a dynamic logistical environment.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent through experience.
• At least three years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a production environment.
• Experience with SAP, SAP EWM or another warehouse management system.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Quality- and safety-conscious, with a proactive attitude and an interest in process improvement.
• Willing to work in 2 teams: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm, with a late shift on Fridays from 3pm–7pm.
