Transport planner

Function

For the Transport Planner vacancy at our client’s company, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• You are responsible for the daily planning of 4 to 5 in-house drivers for tank transport
• You maintain contact with drivers, customers and quays to keep your runs on track
• You are responsible for booking slots and managing the transport administration
• You are responsible for forwarding the necessary assignments to external partners, which will account for approximately 20% of your tasks
• You work from Monday to Friday on a 39-hour schedule, with the option to start between 7am and 9am (to be agreed with your direct colleague)

Profile

If you are applying for the Transport Planner role with our client, you will recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have a first positive experience as a planner or have completed a logistics qualification beforehand
• You are looking for a varied package and can work well independently after an internal training
• You can maintain a helicopter view and work in a structured manner
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus
• You are stress-resistant and have good communication skills
• From December 2026 someone can effectively start, so you still have a little patience before diving in (interviews can of course already take place now)
