Transport planner disposal containers

Function

As a transport planner, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Daily planning of drop-off containers in West and East Flanders;
• Drawing up the schedule for the next working day, with maximum efficiency and optimal deployment of drivers;
• Continuously adjusting the schedule in case of changes or last-minute requests;
• Best use of own drivers;
• Acting as a point of contact for both drivers and customers;
• Resolving operational challenges quickly and correctly;
• Every day is different. You maintain an overview, think ahead and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Profile

Are you the transport planner we are looking for?

• You preferably have experience in a similar position in the transport sector or have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management;
• You have experience in scheduling your own company drivers (not subcontractors);
• You are stress-resistant and switch smoothly when changes occur;
• You are energised by telephone contacts and operational dynamics;
• You have strong problem-solving skills;
• You are fluent in Dutch and can express yourself fluently in French.
