Transport planner

Function

As a Transport Planner, you are responsible for the daily coordination of our transport activities. You ensure that deliveries are efficiently planned and arrive at customers on time, continuously monitoring capacity, quality and service. In a dynamic environment, you anticipate changes, optimise processes and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Establish and manage efficient transport planning with optimal use of available resources;
• Monitor and analyse logistics performance to identify improvement opportunities;
• Quickly respond to changes, exceptions and urgent customer queries;
• Tracking KPIs such as delivery reliability, transport efficiency and service level;
• Working intensively with customer service, production, warehouse and transport partners;
• Support and guide colleagues within the logistics organisation;
• Initiate and implement improvements within transport and distribution processes.

Profile

As a transport planner, you have the following attributes:

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or you have relevant experience within transport planning;

You are familiar with planning systems; experience with SAP is an asset;

You have strong analytical thinking skills and get energy from improving and optimising logistics processes;

You have good geographical knowledge and know how to organise routes and transport flows efficiently;

You communicate fluently in Dutch and French (or you are daring in French);

You enjoy working with different stakeholders and excel at communication and consultation.
