Transport planner

Function

As a transport planner, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• The optimal organisation of the logistics flow of drivers, tankers and tank containers;
• Daily follow-up planning and practical problem solving;
• Communication with drivers;
• Follow-up on transport administration and regulations;
• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the smooth follow-up of every transport request;
• You will also be closely involved in the further optimisation of our digital planning software and processes.

Profile

As a transport planner, you possess the qualities listed below for this position:

• You have a strong organisational talent and enjoy working in a team;
• You are administratively strong, accurate and structured;
• You have a strong interest in logistics and transport;
• You are communicative and fluent in dealing with drivers;
• You fluently manage NL, FR and ENG written and spoken;
• You have at least initial experience in a planning function;
• You are fluent in various IT applications;
• You will work in shifts early, day and late up to max 8pm;
• You will work in a changing permanency system.
