Transport Planner

Function

Are you a driven and practical planner with a passion for logistics? If Transport Planner you will make a vital contribution to our transport team in Denderleeuw. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and optimising routes for a team of drivers across Belgium. You will draw up efficient and realistic route schedules, taking into account standards, legislation and volumes, and ensure a seamless logistics service. Together with your colleagues, you will act as the point of contact for both drivers and customers, helping to build strong partnerships. In addition, you will work diligently to improve the planning process and play an active role in resolving transport challenges.

Profile

To be successful as a Transport Planner, you will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent through experience;
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in logistics and/or as a transport planner;
• Excellent communication skills and a people-centred approach;
• Ability to cope with stress and flexibility regarding working hours (shift work: 06:00–14:00 // 12:00–20:00);
• Strong problem-solving skills, a no-nonsense approach, and a focus on teamwork;
• An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements;
• Fluency in Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English.
