Bank teller

Function

For a smaller, modern and warm bank branch, we are looking for a proactive counter clerk who enjoys helping customers in a professional manner and dares to spot commercial opportunities.

In this position, you are often the first point of contact for customers. You receive them in a friendly manner, listen to their questions and ensure a correct and service-oriented follow-up. In addition, you actively think along: you recognise opportunities, respond to signals from clients and, where necessary, refer them to the right specialist within the office.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for welcoming customers at the counter and helping them with their daily banking needs. You answer questions, offer support and ensure that customers feel welcome and correctly served.

You also have an eye for commercial opportunities. From existing customers, leads or warm prospecting, you detect opportunities and pass them on naturally to the right colleague or specialist. You do not have to do hard sales, but you do dare to take the initiative and discuss opportunities.

In time, there is the possibility to grow further, for example towards investments. This is certainly not a must, but a great option for those with this ambition.

Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong service-oriented attitude, who enjoys helping customers while being commercially alert.

You are communicative, friendly and dare to take initiative.

You have at least a bachelor level and is eligible if you have just graduated or already have initial experience within banking, insurance or Finance.

Preferably, you already possess the necessary PCP certificates. Don't have these certificates yet, but dream of a job in the banking sector?

If so, it may be possible to obtain it through the employer.

Of course, we then expect you to be motivated to delve into this and actively engage in it.

Furthermore, you speak and write Dutch well.
