Technical Account Manager
Function
As Technical Account Manager, you play a crucial role in the growth of the organisation. You are responsible for renewing and strengthening existing customer relationships, building a sustainable customer portfolio and identifying new commercial opportunities in technically challenging sectors such as cleanrooms, high-tech and life sciences. In doing so, you work closely with technical experts to develop and optimally implement customised solutions.
Here are some of your duties:
- Follow up and reactivate existing contacts to build long-term relationships.
- Prospecting for new customers and market opportunities, including attending trade shows and events.
- Drafting and managing bids and contracts to realise collaborations.
- Contribute to strengthening the brand through marketing activities and social media.
- Provide technical and commercial advice and act as a reliable interlocutor for customers.
- Be first point of contact for after-sales and customer satisfaction.
Profile
We are looking for an experienced and communicative professional with a strong affinity for technology. You put customer focus and authenticity first. Although a network is not essential, you have the drive to build relationships and create future-proof collaborations.
- At least a bachelor's degree or comparable through experience (preferably in a technical field).
- At least a first relevant experience in a commercial role within a technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Affinity with technical projects such as HVAC, cleanrooms or industrial plants.
- Confident and customer-focused, with a professional and transparent working style.
- Knowledge of social media, CRM tools, MS Office and digital marketing techniques.
- Flexible and willing to work from the office as well as be with clients regularly.
Organisation
Our client designs and realises customised solutions for complex technical projects, especially in critical and regulated environments such as cleanrooms within life sciences and high-tech environments. They combine engineering, project supervision and quality assurance and operate in Belgium and internationally. To expand their 39-member team in Belgium, they are currently looking for a Technical Account Manager who will mainly operate in the Flanders region.
