Technical Team Leader

Function

• You will lead the technical team, which consists of five maintenance engineers.
• You will be responsible for technical maintenance and will ensure that the machinery operates at optimum efficiency, with a focus on product quality and productivity. You will spend approximately 60% of your time carrying out hands-on work.
• You draw up an efficient schedule for both preventive and corrective maintenance and monitor it closely.
• You will coordinate the work within the team, set clear priorities and provide support where necessary.
• You analyse the performance of the machinery and implement improvement measures where necessary.
• You ensure that work instructions and hygiene regulations are followed correctly and set an example for the team in this regard.
• You will manage the stock in the technical store and ensure that the necessary materials are ordered in good time.
• You will be responsible for welcoming, training and supervising new staff, student workers and interns.
• You will maintain active contact and liaise with technical colleagues at the other branch.

Profile

• You have a broad technical background with a focus on electrical engineering.
• Experience in managing a team is an advantage.
• You have a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with machinery used in the food industry would be an advantage.
