Technical Production Supervisor

Function

As a Technical Production Supervisor, you are the key technical figure within the production environment. You are not a traditional maintenance engineer, but ensure that technical interventions are carried out correctly, that equipment continues to operate at peak efficiency, and that improvements are implemented.

• You will coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance of the machinery.
• You carry out minor technical repairs yourself whenever possible.
• You assess when an external supplier or specialist needs to be brought in.
• You will coordinate the installation of new machines and liaise with relevant parties such as suppliers and electricians.
• You’ll actively contribute ideas on technical improvements and optimisations.
• You will work closely with the production manager.
• You’ll be on the production floor every day, working from your desk there.
• Depending on your interests and ambitions, you can manage operators and take on additional responsibilities.

Profile

For the role of Technical Production Supervisor, we are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled candidate who can work independently and is keen to take the initiative. Motivated school leavers are also certainly welcome to apply.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or an equivalent qualification.
• School leavers or candidates with some initial work experience are welcome.
• A good understanding of electricity and a sound grounding in mechanics.
• You can analyse technical problems and assess what action is required.
• You like to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
• You work independently and liaise easily with colleagues.
• A knowledge of French is important, as a large proportion of the production is in French.
• Knowledge of English is an advantage.
• A good command of Dutch is essential.

• Gross salary of around €4,000 per month, depending on experience.
• Meal vouchers of €10 per day worked.

• A 39-hour working week with fixed daytime hours (starting at 8 am).
