Function

At our client, a specialist in aluminium windows, doors and facades for decades, as a Technical Commercial Calculator you will have the opportunity to play a key role in realising high-quality construction projects. Located in the Kempen region, the company works with architects and builders to provide stylish, sustainable solutions ranging from luxury flats to football academies. In this role, you will be responsible for translating request files into detailed quotations and maintain strong relationships with clients to make new projects a success.

Core duties and responsibilities:

• Thorough analysis of technical descriptions and detailed drawings of application files.
• Calculating and preparing quotations for aluminium joinery, façade structures and customised solutions.
• Managing an effective estimating agenda and monitoring margins.
• Discuss offers with customers, initiate optimisations and reach agreements.
• Transfer of clearly substantiated files to implementation.
• Develop a reliable network by maintaining customer relationships and prospecting for new customers.

In this position, you will be part of our core team and work with management, project management and work preparation to take our projects to the next level.

Profile

To be successful as a Technical Commercial Calculator, the following qualifications are essential:

• Technical understanding of aluminium joinery or a relevant construction background.
• Sense of accuracy, analytical ability and commercial flair.
• Experience with calculation software such as ReynaPro, LogiKal, or similar programmes is an asset.
• Independent, structured and proactive working method.
• Be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Fluent command of Dutch and knowledge of French and English as an additional asset.
• Maturity and experience, ideally with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Competencies such as analytical thinking, negotiation skills, stress resistance, taking initiatives and disciplined working.

You will report directly to management and work closely with project management and work preparation.
