What does your day look like in the position of team leader loading bay at our client located Koolskamp region?

• Managing and organising the daily operation at the loading dock
• Tracking loading and unloading activities and monitoring the smooth flow of goods
• Planning and adjusting staff and priorities based on daily needs
• Resolving and monitoring operational disruptions and downtimes
• Managing, coaching and motivating the team on the loading dock
• Training and supervising employees and monitoring their development
• Communicating instructions, changes and operational updates
• Coordinate with internal services such as technical service, shipping and supply chain
• Ensuring smooth cooperation within the logistics chain
• ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures
• Identifying risks and participating in process improvements
• Co-operate on the shop floor as needed and flexibly jump in when busy or having problems

Profile

Who are you?

• You have experience in managing a team within a logistics environment (production or warehouse)
• Experience on a loading dock or within a distribution centre is a strong asset
• You have a good understanding of logistics processes and goods flows
• You can work fluently with ERP systems and WCS
• You speak excellent Dutch and can get by in French and English
• You are a natural leader with a coaching and motivational approach
• You think solution-oriented and maintain an overview, even under pressure
• You are communicatively strong and organisationally talented
• Safety always comes first for you
• You have a hands-on mentality and take responsibility
• You have a valid forklift certificate (or would like to obtain one)
