Permanent Night Shift Team Leader

Function

As night shift team leader Will you take charge of a team of 10 to 15 staff members. You ensure that your team is motivated, well-organised and works efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• You will manage your team on a daily basis, motivate and coach staff, and support them in their further development;
• You provide clear guidelines, monitor productivity and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard;
• You will be responsible for staff planning and the allocation of tasks, taking into account staffing levels, priorities and workload, in collaboration with HR;
• You will monitor the logistics processes during the night and take proactive action in the event of problems, deviations or unexpected situations;
• You will ensure that safety, quality and HR procedures are followed correctly;
• You will report on the results and performance of the night shift and put forward proposals for improvement to further optimise processes;
• You will play an active role in implementing new processes, systems and working methods within the organisation.

You are a natural leader who thrives on managing and guiding a team. With your experience and organisational skills, you ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You possess:

• Initial experience in people management, preferably within a logistics, manufacturing or operational environment;
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English and French would be an advantage;
• Good organisational skills and the ability to keep a clear overview, even during busy or unexpected situations;
• An independent approach to work, where you take the initiative and are not afraid to make decisions;
• The necessary flexibility to roll up one’s sleeves where required and to ensure the continuity of operations;
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP would be an advantage.

• We offer you a full-time contract of indefinite duration from 37 hours a week, during 5 nights a week in a 6-day working pattern from Sunday night to Friday night.
• You work according to a flexible timetable during the period between 9.00 pm and 10.00 am averaging 7 hours 24 minutes per night
